Where the Hell is Tesla? A Novel
by Rob DircksSCI-FI ODYSSEY. COMEDY. LOVE STORY. AND OF COURSE... NIKOLA TESLA. I'll let Chip, the main character tell you more: "I found the journal at work. Well, I don’t know if you’d call it work, but that’s where I found it. It’s the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans. One of these plans was for an “Interdimensional Transfer Apparatus” – that allowed someone (in this case me and my friend Pete) to travel to other versions of the infinite possibilities around us. Crazy, right? But that’s just where the crazy starts."
Don’t Touch the Blue Stuff! (Where the Hell is Tesla? Book 2)
by Rob DircksThe sequel to Where the Hell is Tesla? is HERE! SOMETHING CALLED THE "BLUE JUICE" IS COMING. FOR ALL OF US. Luckily, me (Chip Collins), Pete, Nikola Tesla, Bobo, and FBI Agent Gina Phillips are here to kick its ass, and send it back to last Tuesday. Maybe. Or maybe we'll fail, and everyone in the multiverse is doomed. (Seriously, you might want to get that underground bunker ready.) Either way, I've got to get home to Julie and find out... woah, I'm not about to tell you that right here in the book description! TMI.
Gigi Make Paradox (Where the Hell is Tesla? Book 3)
by Rob DircksThe Third book in the Where the Hell is Tesla? Trilogy is HERE! Listen, having kids is great, my little Gigi Collins and Pete’s daughter Hannah are sweet little fluffs of cotton candy, spun from the silk of fairy spiders who live in the clouds. But MAN, can they cause trouble. Seriously, you’d think a two-year-old couldn’t possibly threaten the very existence of our physical reality, but, well, you know where this is going.
The Wrong Unit: A Novel
by Rob DircksI DON’T KNOW WHAT THE HUMANS ARE SO CRANKY ABOUT. Their enclosures are large, they ingest over a thousand calories per day, and they’re allowed to mate. Plus, they have me. An Autonomous Servile Unit, housed in a mobile/bipedal chassis. I do my job well: keep the humans healthy and happy. “Hey you.” Heyoo. That’s my name, I suppose. It’s easier for the humans to remember than 413s98-itr8. I guess I’ve gotten used to it. Rob Dircks, bestselling author of Where the Hell is Tesla?, has a “unit” with a problem: how to deliver his package, out in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to guide him. Oh, and with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance. It’s a science fiction tale of technology gone haywire, unlikely heroes, and the nature of humanity. (Woah. That last part sounds deep. Don’t worry, it’s not.).
You’re Going to Mars!
In You’re Going to Mars! Rob Dircks, Audible best-selling author of Where the Hell Is Tesla?, creates a near-future filled with family (the good kind and the insufferable kind), pop divas, mobsters, and the world’s first trillionaire - and sends them all on a science fiction odyssey/comedy/love story/adventure that will change their world forever.
Listen To The Signal: Short Stories Volume 1
By Rob DircksLike episodes of The Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits, the sixteen stories contained in Listen To The Signal, Short Stories Volume 1 ask questions like, "What would happen if an iPhone game was addictive - to everyone?" and "Are we all living inside a simulation? And if so, who's running it?" and "When a pilot has to emergency land in a remote town near Area 51 what does he find?"

Astronaut Arnie
Written and Illustrated by Dave DircksWe all have a hard time getting out of bed from time to time, but Astronaut Arnie makes an art of it as he brings us on the space adventure of a lifetime. Kids will love and relate to Arnie, the unlikely astronaut who learns a little about each of the planets he visits along the way.
Under The Covers
Art by Doug ReinaA work of art 25 years in the making, Under The Covers is a deep dive into the mind of award-winning painter and cartoonist Doug Reina. Absurd, hilarious, and surprisingly touching, its images and words explore the anatomy of a yawn; strange creatures with even stranger, human-like qualities; send-ups of everything our society holds dear; very human moments of introspection; the achingly funny that sometimes accompanies the achingly sad, and so much more. It's a strange and twisty odyssey you won't want to miss.
The Ways of Grace: A Book of Poems
by Michael McCarthy"Expect loss and know that / tender eyes moisten / setting free / teardrops of humanity." This is just one of the many powerful verses in this meditation on the beauty and grace found in the commonplace. From the loss of love, to a single, yellow flower screaming out to be seen, to the deepness of a tree's roots, McCarthy challenges us to take time to notice the beauty, pain, immensity, and love in the very small moments of our lives. Read this collection of poems and you will want to notice more.
War Stories: From a New York City Cop in the Seventies and Eighties
UfSD 71: A School Novel
by Joseph E. Scalia Self-published, using Goldfinch Publishing's A La Carte Services For over forty years, Joe hopped in and out of the world of fictional Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Memorial High School, drawing on his decades of teaching and dealing with the not-always-sane students, fellow teachers, and administrators to craft an epic satire/comedy about the most dysfunctional school ever. It's a mirror of all our ridiculous faults and foibles; a biting, sarcastic, laugh-out-loud funny, and thought-provoking story; and at its heart it's a sympathetic tale of the crazy people around us. All of us.
